Thanks for the assist !You Team

February 7, 2010

It appears that I had just overlooked the header file that was telling the program what platform to run as, once I changed it off on Linux then things seem to compile correctly.

Thanks again

I’m stuck with Visual Studio

February 6, 2010

Hey everyone, I’m having a problem with getting our Project’s code to run on Visual Studio. I keep getting an error saying that the ncurses.h file cannot be found.

I just recently installed Visual Studio C++ Express onto my netbook (which is running the new Windows 7 in case that makes a difference).

Anyone else have this problem? Or am I just a noob who isn’t using the program correctly…

2010 Time for a fresh start

January 20, 2010

Alright, getting distracted last semester. Now with this new semester I’ve got to stay on track and do not fall behind.

Ready to go here’s hoping I can get the rust off of my coding skills and get back into the swing of things.

Assignment 2 Progress / Problems

November 21, 2009

I’m still working to finish up IO_Form,  just checking to make sure that everything is coded before I move on. I had a few problems trying to figure out how to call the functions correctly but I’ve gotten past that part right now.

I’m going to move over to the VEdit function as soon as I’ve finished.

SVN Work and Meetings…

November 1, 2009

Ok so from our last meeting we reviewed the SVN controls we will be using the most namely add, update, checkout, and commit.

We know that each function is to be it’s own class that we then link through headers into the master ciol.c. It doesn’t really matter to me what part of the assignment I am to be working on…

This whole concept of scheduled IRC meetings is very frustrating… I mean are we actually supposed to be meeting every single week to talk about this assignment? I mean I can understand that these meetings can be helpful to keep us all on track but I don’t have the time when the semester starts back up again for these meetings.

I’ve just had to get a job in order to keep being able to afford the transportation to school, that takes most of my time after school. What little free time I have left is being devoted to homework.

I know these are problems that probably everyone is facing but I’m simply voicing my opinion that these meetings are not going to work.
